1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Billr ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Billr is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that provides invoicing, expense management, client management, and business reporting tools for small and medium-sized businesses. The service includes features such as:

• Professional invoice creation and management
• Client and customer relationship management
• Expense tracking and categorization
• Payment processing and tracking
• Business reporting and analytics
• Multi-tenant organization support

3. User Account and Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

Billr offers both free and paid subscription plans:

• Free Plan: Limited features with basic invoicing and client management
• Pro Plan: Full feature access with unlimited invoices, advanced reporting, and priority support

Payment for paid plans is processed monthly or annually as selected. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

6. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms of Service. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Billr and its licensors. You retain ownership of the data you input into the Service, and we do not claim any ownership rights to your business data, invoices, or client information.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service with minimal downtime, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance when possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Billr, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Zimbabwe.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
